13th Week! I'm Done :))

Yes! I am now officially done in my internship :))

Those twelve (12) hours every Mondays to Saturdays really paid off! Whew. The feeling of accomplishing something is really great! Those 250/day allowance from the company is a double PLUS too! God is really good :) 

This week is a little bit boring. There isn't much work to be done.

Mam Imee and Kuya Butch said that I already finished all of the graphic designs, Wordpress and Programming that was assigned to me. 

So they said this week is a stress-free week for me! I'll just maintain and edit some details in the FamilyCarePh Website. I already have so many pictures in my blog so I will not post any of it.

Cheers! I will miss all of our co-employees here and the environment :) I'm a one proud student :)) Thanks also to Jesus and my Mom who is always there for me. They are the one who guides me and my inspiration when I can't find any company and when I thought I can't finish this in time. Whew! Looking forward on our next semester :D

My 12th Week :D

I'm almost done! Yey! 

It’s been a great week for me. I really enjoy doing some designs and also exploring Wordpress :) I am helping kuya Butch to customize the site  for their foundation. How to add widgets, drop down menus, slideshow gallery and etc.

I am reading the css/html codes of the wordpress so I can add some other features too in the site. So far, I have done a good job in wordpress! Enjoying what you are doing is a really big thing :)) 

Anyway, before anything else (here's my favorite), Sir Butch has given me a task to do a Brochure of FamilyCarePh. 

Since it is a health and family care foundation/company, I made the brochure green. I wanted it to be pleasing in everyone's eyes so I keep the design in minimal. 

Overall rating from Sir Gilbert? A thumbs up and a job well done.

I was also assigned to do a poster/flyer for FamilyCarePh for their upcoming event which is Open Volleyball Tournament 2012. Here's my output:

My Eleventh Week :D

I'm almost done :)) 

I can't wait to sit back and relax while taking down notes to my professor's discussion! I so miss the life of a real student! I miss those short/long quizzes, those sleepless nights during exams week and other school activities. I just can't wait to be done with my training :)) HAHA! 

Anyway this week, we just attended a Job Fair at SMX Convention- MOA. I was so excited to pass my resumes in all those companies who were looking for consistent IT Professionals. But unfortunately, I didn't expect that almost all of it were Call Center. I also register some of the companies there like Accenture, Acquire and Spi Global. I wasn't that interested in the call center industry. But if I will be given a chance to be a part of it, I will take the opportunity and have myself be exposed and be experienced.

There are on the spot interviews which many of my classmates were afraid to take the chance. As for me, I'm not scared or nervous but real confident with my communication/speaking skills. If there were companies like IBM, I would really take my chance to be interviewed. 

I enjoyed the job fair and have a talk with those people who were representative in each companies there. I was really impressed and interested for some, and some of it were not.

Tenth Week Already! Yey me :)

This week, we just attended the 10th Philippine Youth Congress in Information Technology (Y4IT) at the UP Diliman, Quezon City. We had a blast! 

Some of the speakers are a little bit boring but if you listen well, they are so informative. I learned a lot.

I’m familiar with the cloud computing but this time the speakers widen my knowledge about the topic. We had our a.m. and p.m. snacks which is a butterslice bread/orange juice and macaroons/mango juice in the afternoon.

 Just like the last 9th Y4IT it’s been expected to see other schools from different places over the country who attended the seminars too. Some are from Lyceum Cavite, ACLC Mindoro Calapan and Etc. The event lasted from 7am to 5pm and gave our certificate of completion attended in the seminar.

9th Week!! Yeah :))

I wasn't busy these week because there is nothing much to do that Kuya Butch and Mam Imee has given to me. I am currently maintaining and enhancing the FamilyCare Ph Website. 

I almost forgot! I was asked to help Sir Gilbert to do a poster and ticket for their event project which is The  Advance Screening of the Breaking Dawn Part II. 

Since I am not busy at all, Of course I didn't hesitate to help Sir Gilbert in doing these poster and ticket. It's fun for me to do it because I'm such a fan of this Twilight Saga :)

Eight Week! :))

Its my 8th week!

Well I’ve been doing the same thing everyday. Nothing much to say but as always I’m doing some graphic designs for mypromo,com.ph and programming in TheOrangeBox and MyPromo.Com.Ph :)

I’ve been working on my program and I just can’t figure out on how to do a progress bar.
Whew.

I'm a little bit having a hard time doing this. Tsk.

Whew! It's been Seven Weeks Already!

Its our 7th week with Gladys Mae Raquel and Chester Marie Sia. 

For this week, Mam Jen asked me to do a poster and flyer design for their seafood company that is now having more and more stores nationwide. The company is widely known for their fresh and good deal prices in their seafood products.This will also be used in their website too. Their main  products are Black Tiger Prawns and Octopus :) 

Here is my output that I made for the Aquatic-Ace Corporation and Aquatic Care Enterprise. I will post another output that I will show to Mam Ten so she can have other options on my designs.
